We’re now heading into the time of the year when automakers are busily finalizing their plans for next year, starting with the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas in January.
It’s already known that Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares will be giving a keynote speech at the event on Jan. 5.
The company will also be offering up an extensive look at its all-electric future at its display at the show, which will likely feature the Ram 1500 Revolution battery-electric pickup that Tavares will introduce to the world during his speech.
Automakers have landed
However, he won’t be the only auto industry CEO offering up insights during the event. BMW Chairman Oliver Zipser will also be making news the night before, presenting the Bavarian automaker’s vision of the “ultimate digital driving machine.”
Hyundai and Kia will also have booths at the show — as will Sony, which is always a possibility to roll out an automotive surprise or two, like last year when it confirmed plans to build a vehicle with Honda starting in 2025.
We’re nearing the time that Santa is set to arrive, delivering presents to all the good girls and boys, which means we’ll have some suggestions for what to get the automotive maven in your family. We’ll also start taking a look as what we expect in the year ahead.
