Ford is bringing major firepower to this year’s SEMA show in Las Vegas, with more than a few Ford concept vehicles built in collaboration with aftermarket customizers.
The automaker’s sizable fleet at the show suggests Ford realizes the size and scope of the aftermarket, and designs their vehicles accordingly.
“We designed Ford vehicles to be easier to customize, with installation points and aftermarket accessories engineered from the start of the design process,” said Eric Cin, Ford global director, vehicle personalization, accessories and licensing, in a statement. “We work actively with the aftermarket to share our product designs so customers can personalize and put the finishing touches on their vehicle to make it all their own.”
The results will be seen on the show floor, which opens tomorrow at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Here’s some of what you can expect to see. (And, if you like what you see, check out accessories.ford.com).
