Now that all of the Halloween decorations are down and the candy is nearly finished, many are focusing on the next holiday: Black Friday.
Known as the biggest shopping day of the year, although this year’s event is likely to be substantially different, the day after Thanksgiving has shoppers salivating over the potential for a great deal. If you’re in the market for a new vehicle, that same level of anticipation should be coursing through your veins.
Instead of running out to get the newspaper circulars and spreading them out all over the floor, if you’re looking for a new car, truck or utility vehicle, the internet is your friend. And searching the web will turn up nearly a dozen good deals.

U.S. News & World Report annually compiles a ranking of the best Black Friday deals and while the pandemic’s been tough on people, it’s got some automakers offering some good deals, the magazine reports.
“Black Friday isn’t just about getting the latest Xbox or scoring a great deal on a flat-screen TV,” said Jim Sharifi, managing editor of U.S. News Best Cars. “Shoppers can take advantage of 0% financing for five or six years on some of our top-ranked cars. These sales also include excellent lease deals that will keep your payments right around $300 each month.”
The magazine applies a best out of 10-point ranking on deals to determine which ones are best. This year’s big winner is the 2020 Mazda3, which can be had with 0% financing for 60 months for qualified buyers. It’s a deal that is going to crop up a few more times on this list.

The rest of the top deals for Black Friday 2020 include:
- 2020 Toyota Camry: 0% financing for 60 months
- 2020 Honda Accord: $290 per month for 36 months with $0 due at signing
- 2021 Hyundai Sonata: 0% financing for 72 months
- 2021 Mazda CX-30: $209 per month for 36 months with $2,999 due at signing
- 2021 Toyota Corolla Hybrid: 0% financing for 60 months
- 2020 Volkswagen Jetta: 0% financing for 72 months
- 2020 BMW i3: 0% financing for 60 months
For those interested in a good deal, there are some caveats to apply to these offerings. Some regions offer different deals, some of which may be better than what’s listed above. The deals are available to qualified buyers only, which generally requires a very good credit score.
