Fiat Chrysler confirmed its commitment to Alfa Romeo with 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia.

Alfa Romeo has struggled to attract American buyers even though it has offered some impressive vehicles. But despite falling sales, which are down 27% through the first nine months of 2019, Fiat Chrysler Automobile N.V. isn’t giving up.

For the 2020 model year, FCA is planning to add an array of new technology to both the Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan and the Alfa Romeo Stelvio sport-utility vehicle to both the interior and exterior.

The new interior updates enhance key driver touchpoints including an all-new center console, all-new leather-wrapped shifter, knurled aluminum-look rotary dial, upgraded steering wheel design, phone stowage area with available wireless charging, and laminated front glass for improved cabin ambience.

The changes also include a new standard, 8.8-inch touchscreen display with improved graphics, faster processor, driver-configurable interactive widgets, and performance pages. SiriusXM Radio with complimentary 12-month subscription, deliver an all-new user experience is now standard as well.

The 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio features a slew of updates for the new model year.

The Advanced Driver Assistance System package, available on both Giulia and the Stelvio, features Level II autonomous driving capability with Highway Assist, Traffic Jam Assist, Active Lane Keep Assist, Active Lane Departure Warning, Active Blind Spot Monitor, Traffic Sign Recognition, Drowsy Driver Detection, and navigation providing an optimized balance between driver and machine.

“The Alfa Romeo Giulia and Stevlio receive significant technology, infotainment and interior enhancements for the 2020 model year,” said Tim Kuniskis, Global Head of Alfa Romeo and Head of Passenger Cars – Dodge, SRT, Chrysler and Fiat, FCA – North America.

“Alfa Romeo’s unrivaled driving experience is now elevated by delivering key premium features requested by our current and future customers.”

The changes also include new metallic exterior color options including Anodized Blu, Lunare White and Verde Visconti on the Giulia.

The interior of the 2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio offers a mix of digital and analog technologies.

Stelvio models receive key exterior enhancements including a new body-color kit, featuring painted wheel flares, lower rocker panels, and rear fascia as well as an available Dark Miron appearance kit available on Sport models and carbon fiber package available on Stelvio Quadrifoglio models.

The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price for the 2020 Alfa Romeo Giulia – excluding destination fees – starts at $39,345 and jumps to $74,445 for the Giulia Quadrifoglio. The Stelvio begins at $41,345 and $80,445 for the Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
