Looks like Jeep has lifted the interior from a regular vehicle – read that to mean something that doesn’t have the capability of a mountain goat – and put in a Wrangler.
Long known as the king of off-road vehicles, recent Jeeps have typically had interiors that looked like they were just one step above the Jeep’s World War II forebearers.
But for 2011, Jeep parent Chrysler is giving the Wrangler and Wrangler Unlimited models a new interior, two-tone on some models, with upgraded touch surfaces, occupant comfort and versatility. Also new is a body-color removable hard top for the Sahara model, replacing a black top.
We haven’t driven the new Wrangler, so we’ll reserve final judgement, but the pictures are eyepopping.
