Chrysler Recalls Numerous Models for Bad Brakes

A simple clip is bent or missing from the brake booster.

by on Jan.18, 2010

It could become a ram, literally.

Chrysler is recalling more than 24,000 Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles from the last two model years for possible brake failures.

The cars and trucks may have been built with an improperly formed clip that holds a rod to the brake booster. In some cases, the clip may be missing entirely. Either way, a complete brake failure could result.

No accidents have been reported to date.
